Presented are three lovely paper doll books that feature Effanbee's Wee Patsy, Patsyette, and Candy Kid and Honey paper dolls--very popular "real" dolls in the 1920's and 1930's. The books are all new, never used and in excellent condition. The Wee Patsy book has two paper dolls (on the cover) a small play house, and 24 costumes. There are also black and white pictures of Patsy dolls. Nine pages in a 7" by 10 3/4" booklet.
The Patsyette book is 9 1/4" by 12" with 2 dolls and 9 pages of clothing, containing 17 costumes. Candy Kid and Honey are the same size and have 4 dolls and 8 pages of clothing.
John Axe is the artist of all three books for Holly Hobby Press. The books are stapled and the larger books have a tiny, tiny bit of wear on the bottom edges. All printed in the 1990's. Each book also has a brief history of these Effanbee dolls.
This is a very collectible group, but it would be so much fun to actually cut these out and play with them!
