For your consideration is a 1925 Cameo Scootles 13” composition doll in an original sun suit outfit, socks and shoes. They show age, but remember Scootles is around 90 years old. Designed by the famous artist who brought us Kewpie, Rose O'Neill. Scootles' head and face paint with side glancing eyes, closed mouth smile, and wavy hair are in good condition. She has the starfish fingers, all complete but for the very end of a thumb that has been painted over, either in factory or by owner, I cannot tell. Toes have some crazing but are intact. There is overall crazing on limbs, and some missing composition on back and one arm. Not much raised composition. Please do check pictures as I have tried to show condition.
Positive factors are original clothing and shoes and the wonderful face paint. She has cute, cute dimples. Scootles is strung well and can stand. Her crazing is not distracting and the doll will display well. And she has been priced accordingly.
