You probably have seen these little plastic dolls that rattle. They were made to dress and I think at one time Mommys and Grandmothers crocheted outfits for them. They were made by Knickerbocker Plastic Co., Glendale California. They are baby doll, No. 700. Dolls and boxes in wonderful shape, except the cellophane, which is there, but detached.
Knickerbocker Plastic Company shouldn't be confused with Knickerbocker Toy Company of New York, which specialized is stuffed animals. Knickerbocker Plastic made many plastic toys for the growing Baby Boomer, post WWII market, 1940's-1950's.
These have not been used. We have a dressed Knickerbocker doll in our shop.
