This is a wonderful 1913 book from the P.F. Volland & Company. It is titled "Animal Children, the Friends of the Forest and the Plain." It was written by Edith Brown Kirkwood and illustrated by M.T. Ross.
It has 95 pages of animal poems and illustrations which are quite detailed and sweet. They all dress in human attire. The book is very, very good condition: Binding is excellent, cover is very good except for a single white spot. There is a tiny bit of foxing on the edge of pages due to age, and there is no dust cover. I don't know if there was ever one.
Please look at the pictures and ask questions if you have them.
