Charming antique cast iron teapot. This 1800s child or doll teapot was meant to be used on a child's size cast iron stove. Well made with a coiled wire handle and attached swinging lid. Nice, larger size. The teapot measures 4 inches from spout to back and 3 3/4 inches from base to handle. It has a 1 7/8 inch base (1/4 inch deep) that is meant to sit down into the hole of the stove. It is in overall very nice condition with expected wear and rusting from prior use. Rusting is light to moderate. There is no pitting or severe rusting that compromises this teapot. Some roughness around the opening hole but it isn't known if this is from play/wear or manufacture.
