Exquisite vintage wedding / bridal wax blossom tiara head piece or crown. Circa 1915-30s. This head piece is covered in a multitude of wax blossoms, definitely over 50 but hard to count to get an exact total. The same eight petal blossom was used throughout the head piece. Each blossom measures 1 inch. They all have a pealized luster coating and a fringed type stamen. More ivory in color then white. The blossoms are attached to a flexible, cloth covered wire base which will allow it to fit several different head sizes from bride to flower girl if worn. The only bit of color was two cloth green leaves of which one is missing. From end to end this tiara head piece measures approximately 11 1/2 inches long. From age the cloth covered band is more off-white in color. There is also a small stain which the blossoms cover well. Two of the blossoms have a broken, missing petal. As mentioned prior one of the cloth leaves is missing while the other is detached from the wire. Whether worn for that "special day" or even used for a favorite doll this stunning wax blossom head piece presents quite nicely. It will be carefully wrapped for safe receipt.
