Darling all bisque Chinese baby boy doll. 1920-30s. He is made of Japanese white bisque and measures 5 inches long. His bisque is nicer and doesn't have that grainy texture most commonly found. He has a different look with almost pouty lips. His facial features are very nicely painted. Head and body are one-piece but arms and legs are jointed. Not sure if he has any markings. Didn't want to risk damaging his clothing by looking. He is all and completely original in his three-piece Chinese costume consisting of a shirt, pants and hat. A long single braid attached to the back of his hat hangs down his back. His colorful clothing is a lovely combination of colors. The shirt and pants are made of a stiffened fabric with a brushed nap to it. The are trimmed in ribbons and braid trim. He is in very nice condition, coming from my personal collection. He has age appropriate light soil. No chips, cracks or breaks. Marks along the right side of the face appear to marking pencil and should clean off. He is a darling doll that I am sure you will be pleased to have in your collection.
