This stunning hand blown basket was produced circa 1890's. It is a beautiful piece with a rosaline coloring of pink blending to white glass, a ruffled rim and a reeded crystal handle. Possibly English, Bohemian or American Victorian art glass this piece particularly reminds me of some Thomas Webb attributes, especially the ground pontil on the base.
The basket measures 5 1/5" in diameter and 6" tall. It is in excellent condition with no chips, nicks or cracks and little wear from age.
