This beautiful enameled art glass pitcher has a ribbed optic pattern to the glass, with a double crimp to the rim. The upper portion of the pitcher has a ruby stain, while the bottom portion has a blue stain and is decorated with blue and yellow enameled flowers and white flowers and scrolls.
I believe this piece could be either American or Bohemian in origin and dates to circa 1900. It would have been blown into a mold and there is a large pontil mark on the base. There are a few bubbles in the glass and one long crease or cooling line which runs around a portion of the neck.
This piece is 9' in height and 5 1/2" in diameter. In very good condition it has no chips, nicks or cracks. There is some very light wear to the decoration.
