This beautiful example of a vintage British pottery tea pot was produced circa 1940s and has a wonderful design with a ribbed body, topped with gold floral and lattice accents, which is balanced by deep maroon red panels and white floral bouquets.
The teapot measures 5 1/2" in height and 6" in diameter (not including the spout and handle). It holds 5 cups of liquid when it is full to capacity, so I think you could comfortably make 4 cups of tea in it.
This piece is marked SADLER ENGLAND on the base. It is in excellent condition just one small nicks to the Maroon paint on the shoulder, there are no other nicks, chips or cracks at all.
