This beautiful little Dolphin handled dish was produced by Fenton in the 1930s and is part of their nameless #1621 pattern. I like to call it seaweed as the alternating patterns on the panels look like two different kinds of sea plant. One of them is a pressed pattern, in clear glass. The other is acid etched for a frosted design.
This piece is a small bon bon or lemon dish, perfect for holding candies, trinkets or business cards.
It measures 6" square (6.5" on the diagonal) and the lip of the dish stands about 1.5" high, with the Dolphin figures adding a little additional height on either side.
This piece is free of chips, nicks and cracks. It has some light wear from age but would make an excellent addition to any home or collection.
