The name Mesolini is a union of Greg Mesmer and Diane Bonciolini's names, and as their names unite to form a beautiful word so their art unites to form stunning works of Kiln formed glass art. Mesolini studio is located on Bainbridge Island in the Pacific Northwest, my former home for over 6 years, I've visited the artists at their home and studio and once you've seen one piece in person you'll be in love with their glass for a life time.
It is with great pleasure that I offer you this vintage piece of Mesolini glass. It is a beautiful shallow bowl of green glass with an almost gold iridescence coating the surface. The simple round form is accented by criss crossing lines.
This piece measures 7 1/2" in diameter and 1" in height. It is signed on the base Mesolini with something below that I can't make out and is in excellent condition with no chips, nicks, cracks or signs of wear from age or use. The only flaw to note is a small popped bubble on the rim. The plate has 4 small rubber feet on the bottom. It would make a fabulous, modern addition to your home or gift for a loved one.
