This antique art glass paperweight is rather interesting, and I've been unable to find any information about it at all. It reminds me of the Dump style paperweights, and is has a central white object that is sulfide like, but without any particular form. The glass is clear, but yellowed from age and it has bubbles scattered throughout. The base has a broken pontil mark and significant base wear.
I believe this piece dates to the late Victorian era, but I cannot be sure. It measures 3 1/2" in height and about 3 1/4" in diameter at the widest point.
It's in fairly good condition, there is some light wear from age and the base has two chips on it. This seems to be an unusual and interesting piece to add to a collection.
