This exquisite, vintage 1940s, elegant glass, cranberry flashed centerpiece bowl was produced by Tiffin between 1943 and 1965 and is part of their Kings Crown pattern which has a ring of thumbprints and zig-zags around the center. Tiffin produced a couple of versions of this pattern and this piece has the ruby flashed band both at the top and the bottom of the design which I believe is called Dubonnet.
This bowl measures 11" in diameter and 5" in height. It would make a wonderful fruit bowl, centerpiece or serving dish. There is a star pattern in the center of the bottom of the bowl.
This piece is in excellent condition with no chips, nicks or cracks. There is a little light wear to the cranberry flashed colour of the rim but it is minimal, and only really shows when you intentionally hold the dish up to the light and look through it.
