This wonderful piece of British art glass history is a Cranberry, or pale ruby red glass bowl with a tall, ruffled rim and applied crystal foot. It would have been produced circa 1870s by a skilled artisan and features tiny bubbles in the glass as well as some inclusions of ash from the wood fires that were used in that era.
This piece measures 6.25 inches in diameter and just under 3.5 inches in height.
In excellent condition this piece has no chips, nicks or cracks at all. It's unusual to find this kind of crimped foot without at least one of the leaves damaged. This piece would make a wonderful addition to any home or collection.
