From the 1940's until the end of the 1950's Cambridge Glass produced the most fantastic concept in table glassware known as the Cambridge Arms. The Cambridge Arms were a build-able set of pieces which could be constructed into all manor of shapes to produce small and subtle or large and elaborate center pieces for the table.
This single piece is a crossbar with a flower like candle cup at the center, and a ring at either end in which an epergne vase would sit. In the bottom of the center is a peg which would fit into the candle cup of a taper candle holder.
This piece is an excellent example to embellish on your Cambridge Arms set. It measures 9 1/4" wide and is in good condition except for one small nick on the inside edge of the epergne rings.
