This exquisite piece of hand blown and engraved glass was produced on the Isle of Murano in Italy by Salir Buccalleti. It is a large perfume, scent or vanity bottle with an elegant scalloped shape and a floral and lattice engraving reminiscent of antique pieces. This piece dates to circa 1940s. It comes complete with it's original stopper which also has a flower engraved on it, and though this piece is not signed on the base it is almost identical to other signed pieces I've encountered so I am sure it's a genuin Salir Bucalleti piece.
This bottle measures 7" tall including the stopper, and about 4 1/4" in diameter. It is in excellent condition with no chips, nicks or cracks at all. The only thing to note is a barely perceptible haze on the inside of the glass towards the top.
This piece would make an excellent addition to your own home or collection, or a charming gift to a loved one.
