The Strawberry and Fan pattern is one that was repeated through many glass companies in the American Brilliant cut Glass Period. This piece is elegantly executed on a delicate blank, with the cut diamonds and fans reaching about 3/4 of the way up the crystal vase. On the base is a 24 point star.
I must admit that I am not sure this piece is from the American Brilliant Period. The walls of the vase are much thinner than I would expect glass of that period to be. It may be a piece that was produced after that period.
The vase measures 5 7/8" in height and 4" in diameter at the rim. It is in excellent condition. It has a little light base wear and no chips, nicks or cracks. This piece would make a wonderful wedding gift or a beautiful addition to your home.
