Being of English origin, with family lines dating back 300 years in London itself, I was sorely tempted to put this marvelous piece of artwork on my own wall. Instead I offer it to you, a fabulous piece of London art, an etching produced and signed by noted artist K. Vernon. The subject matter is St Mary Le Strand, an early 18th century church which stands in one of the earliest established parishes in London.
I do not know when this artists work was produced but I can date the image to the 1920s based on the style of the cars.
This etching measures 10 1/8" in height and 4 1/2" in width. It is matted and framed and the frame is 17 1/2" by 11". The frame does have some light scuffing but the etching appears to be in good condition.
