The natural stone, rose quartz beads on this 24" necklace are strung on a pale pink thread, with large knots between each bead. Sturdy and secure this piece dates to the 1920s or 1930s, as indicated by the sterling filigree box clasp.
The beads on this necklace are slightly larger than others I've seen, and gently graduate with 1/2" beads at the front 3/8" beads at the back. The filigree box clasp is adorned with a flower and indicates a higher quality of production. It is marked SILVER on the back and I do believe it is sterling silver.
In excellent condition this versatile vintage piece would add an elegant touch a prom, wedding, office party or your every day wear.
