This exquisite piece of art glass is a large centerpiece or fruit bowl which was originally produced by Verlys, and then by Heisey in the 1950s. I believe this may be a Heisey piece as it is not signed with the Verlys mark.
The bowl has a wonderful design of Tassles which look like wheat radiating from the center of the bowl. It is made of crystal clear glass which has been acid etched in the style of the original French Verlys pieces.
This bowl measures 11 3/4" in diameter and 2 3/4" in height. In excellent condition with no chips or cracks and just one pinpoint nick on the outer rim.
