I just LOVE this vintage 1950s era compote. It was produced by L.E. Smith between 1953 and 1956 and it is a jet black glass with white drizzles all over it. They called it Confetti but it looks more like Paint Drizzle to me!
The compote has several pattern features. The inside of the bowl is smooth but the underside has a Diamond Point pattern and the stem has a pattern of stepped circles to it.
This piece is in excellent condition. It has no chips, nicks or cracks and no signs of wear from age or use. It measures 7 1/4" in diameter and 5" in height. It would be simply fabulous as a store display, or in your own kitchen and dining room at home.
