This charming little art glass vase is marked Czechoslovakia on the base in acid etched letters. It likely dates to the 1920s or 1930s but I've been unable to identify the maker. It may have been a rose bowl type vase with a metal top on it as the rim of the vase is unfinished and a little rough.
The vase has a spatter pattern of pale blue, white and pink encased in crystal. The base is amethyst which runs up the vase like dripping paint. It's a remarkable effect. The vase has bulbous lobes with flat pieces between, it must have been blown into a mold.
This piece measures 3 1/2" tall and about 4" in diameter at the widest point. The base is 2 1/4" in diameter.
In excellent condition it has no chips, nicks or cracks at all.
