This beautiful piece of vintage art glass is a bottle or decanter in the Egermann line, which was produced by Goldberg circa 1930. The book "Collectible Bohemian Glass 1880-1940" shows several catalog pages from a 1930s catalog and while it doesn't include this precise form, the designs and pattern are quite obviously the same.
This piece has several designs around the body including a castle, a deer and a bird with large scrollwork designs filling the spaces. The ruby glass is overlaid onto crystal. The ruby layer has then been cut and etched through to produce the design.
This piece measures 7 1/2" tall and 3 1/2" in diameter at the widest point of the shoulder. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. It does have some light wear from age and please be aware that it does NOT have a stopper with it. This is the bottle only.
