This beautiful piece of antique English pottery or porcelain was produced by Ridgeways in England circa 1913. It is part of their Coaching Days line, which states on the back that it is a scene by special permission of Macmillion & Co Ltd. It is also marked Ridgeways, England and RD No615802.
This beautiful bowl would make a fabulous decorative accent in the home. The image is that of Old Marlborough and features an old coaching inn with a church in the background and people in the foreground. Around the brim of the bowl are country scenes with fields, hills, windmills and buildings.
This piece measures 9" in diameter and 2 5/8" in height. In excellent condition it has some very light wear from age but no chips, nicks or cracks at all.
