This exquisite art glass console bowl is one of Fentons more unusual patterns with leafy vines standing out against a satin crystal background. The pattern is called San Toy and the piece is a Cornucopia console bowl which would make a beautiful fruit bowl, serving piece or artistic decoration in your home.
The bowl was produced circa 1936 by Fenton and measures 10 3/4" long, 8" wide and 5 1/4" height. One end of the bowl is turned up and the other turned down for an aesthetically pleasing and unusual shape with a scalloped rim. The pattern is acid etched to the inside of the bowl.
This piece is in very good condition. The only flaw to note is a small, shallow chip on the underside of the rim right next to the point on the low end. This cannot be seen from above or the side at all and in fact you would never know it was there unless you ran a finger around the underside of the rim.
