This charming vintage tin was originally sold containing candies and sweets that were produced by Joseph Bellamy and Sons in England. Joseph Bellamy and Sons was known for Liquorice Allsorts, Mint Imperials and others.
The tin is a vibrant, deep red with a beautiful image of yellow and orange roses decorating the top. The front and back are marked as to it's origins in Wheldale Mills, Castleford, Yorkshire.
The tin measures 6 3/4" long, 4" wide and 2" tall. It is in good condition with some wear which adds fantastic decorative character to the piece. It would make a beautiful piece of artwork displayed in a home or collection.
