This charming English Vignette is a print which was produced or sold by Rodolf Lesch, Fine Arts Inc circa 1960s. The image depicted in this print is timeless. It features what I believe may be a Harbour from an outside view, including two tall buildings, one of which I believe is a lighthouse, and a beautiful Tall Ship with a D printed on one of it's sails. The foreground shows a small rowing boat, some harbour chain and a handful of people on the rocks.
This image appears to be a watercolor wash over a print. I am not yet an art expert however, I've just begun dabbling in this forum, so I cannot be sure. If you have any questions about it I will happily answer to the best of my ability.
The print is matted behind a green velvet with an oval shaped center. The frame appears to be solid wood in an octagonal shape.
This piece would display wonderfully. It has the wire on the back to hang it with and is in excellent condition. The only thing to note is that the paper at the back of the frame has a tear at the top. The print and frame themselves however are in wonderful condition. The frame is 12 3/4" long and 11 3/4" wide. The image is 7 1/2" in height.
