This extremely rare vintage display mannequin is from the 1930's-1940's. It is 29" tall, 13" shoulder to shoulder, and 9" round base. She is connected to the base by a large wooden dowel. Sitting on the counter of a fine lady's clothing store she would be able to turn on the dowel to show customers how any hat or scarf would look, front to back. There are a few scratches and a couple of chips and cracks, but the piece is solid and nothing that could not be touched up or restored. Remarkable condition for her age. All of her features are hand painted and the details of her hair and eyes is fantastic. She has the longest and most graceful neck I have ever seen on any display mannequin. A great piece of commercial art.
