This hand- colored Stone Lithograph from John Gould an English Audubon artist is done in VERY STUNNING COLORS. The green and blue iridescence on the humming birds is much more beautiful than what my photo shows. True to Gould's work the details are meticulous. The brightly colored humming birds are collecting nectar from an equally fantastic stem of orchids. Print is 20" x 16". Credits... Bottom left reads: "J. Gould and H. C. This is one of a set of 3 that we found in an original art folder by John Gould. It has never been framed. There are some small spots here and there on the prints from normal age wear and from never being framed, but nothing that really damages the true beauty of these prints. We are also picturing the original folder that these prints were found in. Please let us know if you have any interest in the original folder as well as we are not including it with just one print.
