This highly intricate piece of solid brass was made in India. I have been told it is a mix of 7 metals including brass and bronze. It is quite heavy, so it weighs more like bronze than brass. It features a large cart/chariot pulled by two Indian elephants. Many of them were used as toys for children to play with in the temples. Now they are a great example of Indian art to be collected and displayed with pride. The chariot measures - 10' length x 10" width x 16" height. The elephants on wheels measure - 9 " width x 7" depth x 6" height. I have been collecting these pieces for many years and I am now selling off my collection.
