This fantastic Pottery Milk crock is from the North Carolina pottery region of Randolph County. I can't tell you exactly how old it is because they've been made for well over 100 years. This style of milk crock was used in old spring houses to cool and separate milk. It has great character and color. It has some old age cracks but is still very solid and still holds liquid. It measures - 7" tall - 10 1/4" diameter. This came out of an old farm house in NC from a family that had been in the area since the early 1800's. A great old farm house piece of pottery, very decorative and still useful in many ways.
