Decadent Bliss - Artisan Double Helix Glass Lampwork Beaded, Swarovski Crystal, Bali Sterling Silver, Wearable Art Necklace.
This Uniquely Distinctive, One-Of-A-Kind Necklace is a gorgeous ensemble of Glass Lampwork Beads ... U.S. Artisan handcrafted and properly kiln annealed (the lampwork artisan resides in WI).
The beads are a beautiful blend of Color and Design Work. Created with Double Helix Glass (in Clio) containing high levels of dissolved silver, this boutique glass is color-shifting (a similar quality to boro glass) and is most vivid in direct sunlight. Please see all pics for color variations. The Ruby-Cherry Clio has been further combined with other Double Helix glasses, in a delightful and unique blend of colors (Blue, Teal, Green, Purple, and Yellow) all encased under clear glass (adding to the depth and dimension) along with textured ribbing.
The ribbed barrel beads measure 1/2 Inch in width x 3/4 Inches in length - and the center focal bead measures 5/8 Inches in tall (just over 1/2 Inch) x 1 1/8 Inch in length. The solid ruby-cherry clio beads measure 7 mm.
Complementing the Lampwork Beads are oodles of Swarovski Crystal (in Clear and Green Peridot, AB 2x), and Bali Sterling Silver. Fluidly finished with a mimicking in shape and texture, Sterling Silver Toggle Clasp.
This Stunning ! One-Of-A-Kind, Wearable Art "Statement" Necklace measures 26 Inches in Length.
(small white spots / streaks on the beads are only photograph reflection spots and do not actually appear on the beads - nor do any of the darkened / black spots on the sterling silver - these are only reflections from my camera)

If you are new to Glass Lampwork Art, each bead is Individually hand crafted by heating solid glass rods to a molten state - the beads are created by wrapping and layering the molten glass around a steel rod (which becomes the bead hole). Depending on the skill of the Glass Lampwork Artisan, the end result can be phenomenal ! Lampworking involves carefully manipulating hot molten glass ... and no paint or painting is involved !
