Here I have to offer is a very Rare 18 inch "Mamie Eisenhower" Doll, c. 1950. and made by the Mollyes Doll Company. She comes from the personal doll collection of a well known personality doll collector, Billie Nelson Tyrrell. The doll was made to represent our First Lady, Mamie Eisenhower, when her husband Dwight was President during the years 1953-1961.
She is all Original in a gorgeous pink ball gown, with her original Mamie Pin still on, as well as wearing her Original Hang Tag with her name "Mamie" stamped above, now light from age. Her face is just Beautiful with bright blue eyes, full sable lashes, gentle pink blush on both cheeks, and ruby red full lips. For her jewelry, Mamie is wearing on each ear, a single faux diamond earring. She has been well preserved and in clean, mint condition. She has no odors and comes from a smoke free home.
This Beautiful and Exceptional Doll is Very Unique and Rare. She would be an asset to any hard plastic, celebrity and personality doll collector. A Blue Ribbon winner for sure.
Like any antique or collectible doll, there is one issue. Her gown has four tiny holes, and one other about 1/4" round (see photos).
