Here I have to offer a Wonderful, German Bisque Simon & Halbig #1249 Doll. These dolls are hard to come by and have one of the prettiest faces made by that firm. The trademark on these dolls is the triangle in the middle of the bottom lip, which this doll has. She has the most beautiful face with peaches and cream complexion. Bright sleep glass blue eyes, painted lashes, molded eyebrows, open mouth with a hint of a smile and 4 teeth, pierced ears, and a dimple in her chin. She is on her original German ball jointed body with jointed wrist. I had her professionally dressed as a Nurse because I happen to have an Original Red Cross nurses white apron for a doll, and a Red Cross Nurse Cap as well. I then purchased vintage Original Red Cross Pins, and antique material from a Dealer who specializes in Antique clothes, materials, etc., to have the Nurses Outfit made. The wig, shoes and socks are more updated. She is marked on neck S&H 1249, DEP, Germany, SANTA.( sorry for the blurr). The doll has no hairlines, cracks, nicks, repairs and is damage free. She has no odors and comes from my personal collection. Her Nurses outfit is just Wonderful, and she would be a nice addition to any Nurse, Red Cross, S & H or Doll Collection. Little boy not being sold at this time.
