Here I have to offer a Beautiful and Large antique German bisque doll c. 1900 made by the well renowned and most appreciated doll firm of Simon and Halbig. This doll stands an impressive 32in tall and is marked S & H 1079 (see photo). She is on an original heavy, sturdy well made German ball-jointed composition body. Her face is beautiful with big brown original glass eyes. Her four teeth are original as well. Her Original Wig however is just gorgeous. It is very full and wavy. It is so hard to find an original wig like this today on the original doll. The wig alone would sell on its own. She is appropriately dressed in an antique doll dress with antique undies. Her shoes are vintage black tie-ons. The doll is in excellent condition with no hairlines, cracks, chips or damage to head. The body has normal wear, and in very good condition with all fingers present (see photo). This impressive large and beautiful Simon and Halbig doll would look wonderful grouped together with a few of your other antique dolls standing in front, and along side her, making for a lovely setting in one of the corners of your home. Comes from a smoke free home.
