Here I have a wonderful Mint in Box (lid missing) 19in. Harriet Hubbard Ayers Beauty Doll. She was made in 1953 by the Ideal Toy Company and sold for One Year Only, thus making her a hard to find doll. Her head is made of a special type of plastic to take on the cosmetics and is marked "MK16/Ideal Doll" back of neck, bright blue eyes, full sable lashes, rooted brunette hair with two original red bows and hairnet still on, jointed hard plastic body marked Ideal Doll P-91. Harriet is wearing her Original grey waffle-weave cotton dress with a red striped pinafore. She also wears her Original Hang Tag with hair curlers and comes with Original booklets and letter 'A Gift for Mother.' She also comes with the hard to find Make-up Table with Cosmetics to apply to the doll, and box with instructions.
This doll is Crispy Mint and all Original contents are in Excellent Condition except for cleanser which I think has started to evaporate due to age, but at least it's still with the play-set. She is a wonderful doll from the 1950s and would be a nice addition of dolls from that era. Doll has no odors and comes from a smoke free home.
