A miniature working Art Deco clock is set inside the clock tower in this charming scenic painting. The scene takes place somewhere in Europe.
Mounted behind beveled glass in a simple bronze patina frame it measures 2.75 inches X 4 inches and stands on 2 ball feet mounted atop a black base. Finished, this framed and mounted piece stands 5 inches high X 1.25 inches deep X 3.5 inches wide at the base.
Clock has an off white Face, black Roman Numerals and black Hands. Stem is set to the right side.
CONDITION: In excellent vintage condition with no damage to note. Newer replacement protective velvet under the base. Well balanced and sturdy at 308 grams by scale. The painted is very nicely rendered but as far as I can see, unsigned. Circa 1930's
