Early to mid 19th century Victorian Hardstone Cameos are mounted & set with the tiniest seed pearls I've seen atop faceted 14K pink gold orbs suspended on chain.
The earrings drop 1.75 inches long. We've just converted the backs from screws which I believe were probably soft solder replacements from the early 20th to laser set 14K posts and discs for more comfortable & reliable wear.
There is a right and a left to these cameos and each is beautifully carved. Tops measure 12mm w x 14mm high mounted and the orbs are approx 14mm.
CONDITION: In overall fine antique condition with only the expected historic wear and an earned patina that only age can achieve. The cameos are in excellent condition, well carved and remaining crisp with no worn down areas. One of the pearls was re-glued and I note in the photographs that glue was left in that middle right pearl. This will be carefully removed by our Jeweler this week. These test to 14-15K var and are in the coveted pink gold 'of the day.' Weight by scale: 7.9 grams (for the pair).

We don't often come upon early Hardstone cameo earrings anymore and these are a very nice example of their period.
