A beautiful pair of Georgian period sugar nips from the late 18th century are long handled and delicately engraved.
These measure 5.75" long. There is personalized engraving on the top of the curved.
CONDITION: Very, very fine with just the expected signs of careful historic wear. Appropriate Marks for year, sterling grade & town are present. Makers' Mark that is half obliterated with only ".W" remaining clear. The first letter is possibly a G in fragments of what looks to be a triangular form. Weight by scale: 24.8 grams. Circa 1794, Chester.
