A wonderful piece of history! Not positive how this was used. Probably as an invalid feeder - perhaps for a cup of tea? - has a handle on one side with a short spout on the other. Half of the cup is enclosed to prevent spillage. The Red Cross symbol is painted on the top. There are no markings on the cup. It has gold gilding border with some wear as expected with the age. There are no breaks, chips, or nicks in the cup.
