This beautiful antique sterling silver Bonbon dish is embossed and pierced with a Victorian design that is amazingly beautiful. Inside the dish is hallmarked as “H.P.” for the silversmith Horatio Powell, anchor for “Birmingham”, date letter “Y” for 1898. The lion passant indicates sterling silver.
It is in very good antique condition for the age with the exception of a small ding in the center that does not interfere with this dish sitting flat (see pictures.) It measures approximately 1” in height; 4 ¾ in diameter; 36 grams in weight.
