Vintage Ciro guilloche enamel and rhinestone 18K gold-plated figural Toucan bird brooch unsigned in original box.
Ciro was in business in Bond Street, London from 1917 until the 1990's and also had a store in New York where Marcel Boucher and other top designers of that time designed jewelry for Ciro some vintage pieces are marked with both signatures, some pieces are unsigned. Ciro was famous for their imitation pearls which they introduced in the 1920's.
The exotic figural Toucan bird brooch sitting on a tree branch has a green and blue guilloche enamel head with a red rhinestone eye and green enamel tail. The body has gold feathers and clear pave crystal rhinestones with a circle of clear pave rhinestones on the top of the head. The brooch measures 2-5/8" long by 1-1/2" wide and sits 1/4" high with a safety catch pin and weighs 22.47 grams.
