Mid Century Modern gold-plated cast pewter cuff links in a Brutalist style by Quebec designer Robert Larin.
Robert Larin was born in Montreal Quebec, Canada and in is mid twenties had a factory on Rue Papineau in Montreal where he produced unique gold or silver plated pewter jewelry using the lost wax process of casting and was only in business from 1968 to circa 1970.
These rare chunky gold-plated bar cuff-links are 3/4" in diameter and 1/4" thick with swivel bar and a very unique design. One of the swivel bars is slightly less tight than the other and both cufflinks are signed R.Larin and what looks like R.LA.
