Edwardian Star of David Pin, this pin could possibly be earlier even before this star became a Jewish symbol. The symbol became representative of the worldwide Zionist community, and later the broader Jewish community, after it was chosen as the central symbol on a flag at the First Zionist Congress in 1897. It is probably silverplate, I have not tested it. It has the old (C) clasp and is 2" X 1 1/4". Highly unusual design but a most attractive pin.
