Hoyle's improved edition of the rules for playing fashionable games, 1836. This book does have a lot of wear to the cover and spine but it is still tight , complete and all readable. The edges of the pages have browned and there are a few pencil marks on a very few of the pages. The cover is hanging on by the bottom as the top of the spine is missing. Some of the pages have wrinkles and the first two blank pages are torn and bent. For the age of the book it has survived reasonably well.
