I couldn't resist this Vintage Artisan Faux Pearl Princess Collar Necklace found at a local estate sale as it was so unusual to find something that was delicate and yet obviously artisan made.

The faux pearls give the glamour of the princess style and yet the quirkiness of the green glass cabochons surrounded by the faux coral beads give it the pop of color. Cute and delicate plastic leaves are placed strategically on the necklace and the added couple of plastic white butterflies give you a feeling you are in an enchanted garden. There are a couple of opalescent lucite cabochons towards the top of the necklace. This piece is quite well made with each faux pearl being hand sewn. Finished with a metallic faux leather back.

Estimate circa. early 1960's, this fits a rather small neckline of only 13 inches finished with a fish hook clasp. is in excellent vintage condition. You will receive many compliments wearing this piece. It has a hefty weight of 5.8 ounces
