Hawaiian Pikake Celluloid Necklace 1940
A lovely vintage pikake flower celluloid necklace. Mings Jewelry made similar pieces in the 1940's carved out of genuine Ivory. The pikake was Princess Kaiulani's favorite flower and aptly named after the Peacocks she kept as pets in her garden home on the beach at Waikiki. Pikake smell of Jasmine and this necklace is so skillfully made you almost feel the tropical breezes when its placed around your neck. Wonderful condition c1940's.Measuring 38 inches around the molded tulip style beads are interspersed with tiny Ivory celluloid spacer beads. I price realistically but if you love it let me know.I will consider offers.
Gender: Unisex, Age Group: Adult, Color: Ivory, Size: 38 inches
