Spring is here, flowers are blooming, at least in some parts of the country, and bees are buzzing! This pair of earrings was inspired by the hovering busy beads at the colorful flowers, and the gorgeous green Malachite cylinder beads. I love these intensely green beads and had to use them to create my green garden. The charms are made of gold-plated land-free Pewter made in the USA. Your own private garden dangles from a pair of 14k gold-filled ear wires, these earrings are long, lot of movement, and so much fun!
Malachite is an intense green semi-precious stone, characterized by bands and swirls of light and dark green. It is named after the Greek green herb ‘mallow’. Found in Africa in the Congo and Namibia, in Russia, Australia and in Arizona, USA. It is the gemstone to commemorate the 13th wedding anniversary. Malachite is believed by natural healers to bring calmness and help with sleeplessness.
Bead size: Malachite cylinders from 12 to 7 mm long; 12 mm flowers and 10 x 15 mm bee charm.
All ear wires from Sundancegems come with a clear medical grade PVC ear clutch or stopper. These fit snug on the ear wire, and prevent you from loosing your earrings. They will not tarnish silver.
Care: Clean with soft fabric, or non-abrasive polishing cloth. Avoid direct contact with perfumes, hairspray, and deodorants. Jewelry should be worn after application of cosmetics. Store wrapped in soft fabric or sealed in plastic bag.
