Rare antique mouth blown glass fly/wasp catcher

This is an amazingly unique and rare wasp catcher, which would have been mouth blown quite a while ago. The wasps enter through the top funnel into the glass bowl filled with a sweet liquid, but they can't escape.

It is definitely clear enough to see into, but I have not found a way to empty the bowl, so it would have only been used once! It is in excellent condition for its age, with no chips or cracks. It measures 5.5"W x 5.5"T
